Marvin showed up on time and was finished within 30 minutes of arriving. He was extremely kind and helpful in explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. I had a broken chain repaired today, and Paul did a great job. He was scheduled to arrive between 12-2, and he was here at 11:30. He quickly diagnosed the problem (why he thought the chain broke), completed the repair to his standard (replaced the whole track and chain), and even inspected my other garage door to make sure I wouldn't have a repeat issue with that door. He was efficient, friendly, answered all questions, and explained his work. And, since I was using Precision as an "out of network" contractor through my home warranty company, he even spoke with the warranty company to explain the work to ensure they would reimburse me for the work. I would easily recommend Precision Door Service and Paul to any of my friends and family. Great job today, Paul! Oh, and thanks for buying some of my daughter's Girl Scout cookies, too! HA!

I wasn't aware the $70 service charge would apply in addition to the repair costs. He installed a cotter pin that had fallen out. $155 was a little much. Inv #02116776.

Mr. Yance, We at Precision Door Service strive to give our customers the best service possible. When your call was booked it as explained that there was a service charge plus parts or labor. The service charge helps defray the overall cost of doing business, vehicle insurance, maintenance, and fuel. As it appears that it it was a quick fix, you have to take in consideration the total time it took getting to your house and completing the repair. When my technician evaluated your repair he noted that someone had tried to fix it, but was unsuccessful.

I contacted Precision at about 10:30 on Saturday morning and my garage door opener was installed and working fantastic by 5:00. I have always had problems getting someone to show up and do what they say but not Precision. Thank you for everything you did!!! Fantastic company!!!
