The Technician, Paul, got here, introduced himself and surveyed my garage door. It was obvious that the spring was broken but once he got on the step stop, he could tell that it had bent the door some and bent the frame some that goes down the middle. He replaced the spring today and gave me a quote for a much quieter motor and a window panel for the top panel. I’m hoping to replace those towards the end of the month. I am very pleased with the service and the warranty on it also. I can highly recommend them without any hesitation and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. I am only giving 3 stars for prompt service. The service rep, Jeremey informed me when he arrived and seen both Cables loose that both Springs were broken. He then informed me that they didn’t carry the type of springs that were needed for repair. But went on to say that he could modify it where their springs would work. I ask him how much would the repair cost. After a minute of looking at his I pad, he gave me a price of $400. I’m not a garage door expert, but I Know that is extremely high for two bad springs that he went on to say would take him only 20 minutes with modifications to fix. I ask him what would the cost be with the correct springs. He said a lot less. So, I went ahead a & paid the 69.95 for the service call. And I reached out to another garage door repair company and let them know that I was told I had two broke springs. The quote I got from them was half the cost of 400. Just be aware of what happened to me. $70 wasted for someone that was here for 10 minutes that didn’t have the part to fix our garage door.

Great service from start to finish. I called for same day service and in spite of them having the day scheduled, they fit me in. The owner of the company even returned my call. The technician Troy gave a courtesy call prior to his on time arrival. Troy was quick and efficient and had the problem resolved very quickly. My doors were delayed being delivered due primarily to the Christmas holidays and a minor misunderstanding. That said, the doors and openers greatly exceeded my expectations. I went with the Amarr Designer's Choice 3200 series doors and the PDS800 belt-drives and they are worth every penny. I am a mechanical engineer and observed the technician pretty much throughout the install. I was very impressed with his organization, technical knowledge, and attention to detail (Nick Saban would have been impressed with his implementation of "the process"). The doors took a little longer to install than I think was anticipated but much of that was due to the quality of the door and the technician's patience to make sure everything worked flawlessly. My garage is in my basement and the belt-drive openers are so quiet that it you cannot hear them opening from upstairs in the house. No more having to wait until everyone is up before opening the doors!!! In summary, Amarr makes a great product my experience with both the owner and the installer exceeded my expectations. I probably could have purchased a cheaper set of doors but after 27 years of dealing with cheap doors with noisy openers, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.
