I called to get my garage doors serviced. I was told that I would pay a service charge of $69.95 to have the technician assess the doors. I needed to have the doors lubed ($125.00) and one of the doors had to have the cables in the drums rewound. The tech said that it would cost me $125 to rewind the cables in one door. I said that it sounded expensive, so the tech said just pay me $50 and I will take care of it for you. He then stated that he didn’t even put it in the ticket so the company wouldn’t know. I called the company and asked the receptionist about pricing and she said several times to talk to the tech; that’s why I’m calling you all. I call back and another receptionist says they will have the tech’s manager call me. I specifically told them to not have the manager call the tech so that I could avoid any issues. I did this en route to the bank. Headed back home, I received a call from the tech saying that he received a call from his manager and that I was unhappy about the price. This is what I was trying to avoid. I told him that it seemed to high and I wanted to check. He then showed me the finished product and said we’ll just call it even on the rewinding if the cables. I called the company back and told them that I never heard from the manager. I was told that Jeff was his manager and he would call me. I told them to have another manager call me because one of them called the technician and that wasn’t professional. The manager did not call me prior to find out my complaint, and as of this day, I have still not heard back from anyone. Date of service was December 21, 2017. I checked with a couple of other companies who were slightly more affordable and would possibly get my business next time.

I was having a problem with my garage door in Nov of 2016, called precision door out to fix it. They were quick to respond, professional service and we thought we had the door fixed, $190. The problem was that it wouldn't stay down, it would close and go right back up. It worked for a few days but went back to the same problem, it would work right for a few days and then mess up again for a few days. Back and forth. I contacted them a few weeks later and they thought it was the motor and that I would have to pay the full amount. I disagreed with that so I suffered with the door until Jan 1 of this year, I called them back and had them come replace the motor, I paid full price. he did have to come back the second day because apparently the first motor he put on was no good. Door is working correctly now, so far. Not really happy about having to pay the original $190 and the $577 for the second time. But the service guys are prompt.

I looked the company up on the internet and saw good reviews and made the appointment, the repairman was on time and actually got there early after calling first. Repairman was very polite, fixed garage door and even made a few other repairs we didn't even know we're needed. Charges were reasonable and we were very pleased with service.

My appointment was from 4-6. I was called around 3 and the repairman, Marvin, said he would be here in 20 minutes and he was. He recognized my problem and repaired it. He also provided me with information on my other garage door and suggested that I get it repaired soon, if not today. He repaired my problem and was very professional. I will call them when I have other problems.

The garage door would not close during cold weather but worked fine in warm weather. I talked with two other garage door repair companies and neither had ever heard of that before. So I called Precision and they were familiar with the problem. The repairman showed up on time, replaced the sensors, gave other options for replacing worn springs, etc, and was finished in less than an hour. Great Service and professional presence.
